Western Canada Career Development Conference 2026 is designed as a thoughtful, connected learning experience that brings career development professionals together to reflect, learn, and look ahead. Built with intention and care, the conference offers multiple entry points so participants can engage in ways that feel both meaningful and manageable.
The 2026 conference unfolds across three complementary parts.
Day 1 The Learning Lab | April 23, 2026
The conference opens with the Learning Lab, a new and intimate space created for deeper learning and reflection. As a pilot event with limited seating, the Learning Lab invites participants to slow down, engage in focused discussion, and explore ideas more deeply. It is designed to gently prepare participants for the larger conversations that follow, creating space for curiosity, insight, and connection in a smaller group setting.
Day 2 The Symposium | April 24, 2026
The Symposium is the heart of the conference and the main gathering of the career development community. It brings together professionals from across Western Canada and beyond for a full day of shared learning, conversation, and exchange. Through keynotes, panels, and facilitated sessions, the Symposium explores emerging themes, practical approaches, and the evolving context of career development work. It is a space to reconnect with purpose, hear diverse perspectives, and feel part of a wider professional community.
Webinar Collection | May 5 to May 28, 2026
Learning continues beyond the in person events through the 2026 Webinar Collection. This curated series offers ongoing opportunities to revisit key themes, explore new ideas, and engage with expert voices throughout the year. The webinar collection allows participants to continue learning at their own pace and to bring insights back into their practice over time.
Participants may attend individual components or choose a bundled option that includes the Learning Lab, the Symposium, and full access to the Webinar Collection. Together, these elements form a cohesive conference experience that balances depth with flexibility and reflection with practical application.
